I am so glad that I got a chance to review  and do a giveaway on this sweet book. I enjoyed reading it just as much as any child would.....It is an enduring story about this stuffed bunny who sat in the barrel at the toy store because none of the kids wanted her because she had a dark spot on her heart....Well that is, no one wanted her until a certain birthday girl saw her.... The book is centered off of the Bible verse,

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
                                                        Psalm 139:14

There also is a parents guide in the back that has questions and discussion thoughts about the story and Bible verse. This book is currently #1 in the Children's  Christian Books on Amazon.  The pictures in the book are wonderful too.:)

If you're looking for a new way to veiw God's grace in our lives, than this book just might be for you! While I personally do not agree with all of the authors views on theology, his view of grace is unique. I enjoyed the  book and I am glad to have it in my library.
The main focus of the book is, "Unexhaustible grace for an exhausted world". He gives wonderful picture of God's "unconditional" grace. Here is a quote from the book,

"Grace is love that seeks you out when you have nothing to give in return.
Grace is love coming at you that has nothing to do with you. Grace is
being loved when you are unloveable....."

If you would like to enter to win a copy of this book for your own library, leave a comment below or comment on my fb post about the review. The giveaway ends Friday, Oct 25, 2013 @ 9:00pm.

     {In case you didn't know the author, Tullian Tchividjian, is Billy Graham's grandson.}

What a beautiful children's book! It is hard cover with lots of colorful pictures. I really loved the lesson this book taught and the creative way it is presented.  Willow has saved up her money for when the circus comes to town, but she doesn't know how to say "no" to some good things  in order to be able to say "yes" to even better things.  She runs out of money to buy cotton candy, which was what she was really wanting, because she saw to many other fun things to do or to buy on the way..... She is given a second chance and learns her lesson well.
I promise you will love having this book in your children's library and I am giving one away on here. You can enter through Monday {May 13th) at noon. Just leave a comment under this post.:)

Review for: This Is Our Time DVD

Watch the trailer HERE

I really enjoyed this DVD and the lessons brought out in it...... It starts out as these 5 people graduate from college and how their paths go different directions from there. They all try to find God's calling for their lives....for some that is easy and clear, for others, very frustrating and disappointing. Through it all the point is brought out that God's calling is not something that we are to do but something we are to be.
I know there are times in life when things are not clear, but in God's time He does show us the purpose for going through each of life's stages, good and bad. I have experienced it over and over again in my own life.
I know this DVD could be a blessing to you and you can win a copy by leaving a comment under this post. The deadline to enter the giveaway is Friday, April 19, 2013 @ 7:30pm.

What I Wish I Knew at 18

What I Wish I Knew at 18, by Denis Trittin, is one of the coolest books I have ever read on life lessons, relationship advice, college and marriage advice. Most of what he writes may not be "new" information but the way he writes and the layout of his book is awesome!! He does not bore you or make you  feel like someone is trying to cram their advice down your throat as so many times, especially teenagers, feel when reading or listening to someone talk on these subjects.
His book is sort of broken into two categories, the first half, about personal issues such as: Character, Spiritual Life, Handling Adversity, and the second half, the practical "hands on stuff" such as: college, career selection, marriage, and finances. It is set up in a way that you can read whole chapters at a time, or he has "mini chapters" within the main ones, then has these "Take Five" after each one with questions to think about regarding the topic you just read about.
I would say everybody should read this book whether 18 or 45, I promise you will get something good out of it.:) The best part is you can enter to win a copy of your own right there. Just comment under this post and make sure I have some way of contacting you. You may want a copy for yourself, have a teenager in your home, or graduations are coming up and it would make a great gift!! The giveaway ends next Friday, April 5, 2013 @ 5:00pm.

Review and Giveaway ~ The Little House That Stood

Check out the trailer for the new Veggie Tales DVD, The House That Stood.
I really enjoyed watching this DVD with my niece and nephew. Even my husband was laughing at times.:) It is packed with many good lessons and a very unique twist of the parable of the wise and foolishman building their houses on the rock and sand and the three little pigs. That is followed by a very interesting version of Humpty Dumpty.  One of my favorite parts is at the end during Silly Songs with Larry, but I just love Larry's Silly Songs.:) I am so glad I have this DVD in my collection and I know I will get lots of good use out of it. Comment under this post to enter the giveaway.:) It will end Wednesday, March 13, 2013 @ 9:00pm.

Review for DVD, Abel's Field

I really enjoyed watching this DVD and I am glad to have it now in my home collection. It is a touching story about a young boy, left alone to try and care for his two sisters, and a quiet man who is struggling with the past.... Little did either one know what help they would be to each other. A story about good and evil, wrong and right choices, and most of all, God's forgiveness.

Below is the official summary of the DVD...

About Abel's Field
Left motherless by tragedy and abandoned by his father, high school senior Seth McArdle (Samuel Davis) faces enormous pressure as he strives to support his little sisters. At school, he endures the daily bullying of the football team. But fighting back only finds him singled out for punishment and assigned to an after-school work detail under the supervision of the reserved groundskeeper, Abel (SOUL SURFER’S Kevin Sorbo). Much to his surprise, Seth discovers that Abel may be the only one who truly understands his struggles. As dark times lure Seth toward desperate measures, the reluctant Abel may be the one person who can point him back toward the light.
